Buy Bluescreens

In 1 collection by RealityMachina
RealityMachina's Chimera Squad Mods
21 items
Description
Enables you to buy bluescreen rounds from XCOM HQ directly from the start of a campaign, for 100 credits per piece.

I mean, we could directly manufacture this during the war, HQ's gotta have a stockpile it can lend out by now.

@Spiral Dissent:

Yup, the recent update DID break this mod as Bluescreen rounds do not show up on the supply menu anymore :(

Did the update break this mod?

It would be nice if we had to research it first, it's a very OP round.

On impossible, if you take on sacred coil third, no bluescreen rounds = campaign loss.

This is a fix, don't give a shit what justifications people give. Unless you have patchwork or you're savescumming.

Ah yeah because Valen here absolutely was comparing this mod to the Xcom 2 weapons mod.

Mostly this build enables you to tackle Sacred Coil first without Patchwork. So there's that.

Think of it not as a cheat, but as Chimera Squad getting a special grant from the government to allow them to manufacture bluescreen rounds.

I guess you would consider the mod that gives them XCOM 2-style weapons to be a cheat too, then, hmm?

The game clearly states the reason that chimera squad does not have up to date gear... because of the Assembly machine they have. Chimera squad is considered a low priority organization at the start of the game.

Chimera squad does not have war time capability or access to Xcom stockpiles.

This mod is technically nothing more than a cheat. Which is fine - if thats the way you want to mod your game.

Um, Microsoft included Bluescreens in a recent update? Lol.
