for starbound, you first need to make sure you unpack the packed assets, so you can edit them. There are a great number of articles on this at starbounder.org on how to mod files. I use an image editor such as Paint.net , GIMP or Photoshop to change the color hue for the ship and the items on the ship. I suggest you go to the Starbound Discord for detailed mod help.

How did you reskin the ship objects im trying to do this for the hylotl ship and I cant figure out how to do it is there a tutorial you know?

Hey there! I'm working on a mod to let people choose ships from a list, and these recolored objects would be nice to have as options to go with them. Would I have permission to use these?
