SUPER IMPORTANT:
If you plan to publish the mod you gotta ask original creator for permission first! ;)


TIP:
Edit your mod while you are in-game:
1. save the game & edit mod
2. quick-reload your game world (press F5)
3. now check if all changes you made work


FROM COMMENTS:
- Damage is in "Ammos.sbc" file

- Camera overlay is a picture saved in .dds format (use photoshop if you want to create own overlay) I will make a guide sooner or later for using photoshop but don't wait for it!


#6 Audio/Textures/Models folder
USE ONLY IF YOU WANT TO DELETE/CHANGE FILES YOU (DONT) NEED!


Audio folder (or "Sounds"):
= divided into 2 folders: ARC and REAL

ARC = normal sounds

REAL = in space only ("realistic sounds" game world option MUST be TICKED to hear them)



Textures folder:
= all icons + skins, CHANGE ONLY ICONS!

icons folder: Textures -> GUI -> Icons

icon formats: .dds / .jpg / .png



Models folder:
= physical models in game, grey = missing textures!

YOU DONT NEED TO USE THIS FOLDER

Top tier guide, only comment for improvement might be directing people to VS code, with it you can open and navigate mod filles much easier. Will be directing others here, thank you.

@Cosmo Edit sbc files in your mod and put it above the Mod you wanted to edit in the world's mod list. Your mod will have just tiny .sbc files in it, so no big increase in mod size.

Also it is just a game.. rules go aside when I'm having fun, and I have it all the time.
