Hey j-j-jaded/There ain't no baby please/When I'm shootin' the breeze with her...

This test is based off of Fumbly Bumbly's brilliant "Galvanise". This time, it starts as a monoportal map and you get the portal gun after entering the exit area. One cube only. Music by the multi-talented Mikeastro. Main elements are a laser and a lightbridge.

*I have seen some issues with the cube getting stuck in the dropper. I do not know if that will affect you, but if it does noclip and grab the cube manually.*
No glitches, tricks, portal bumping, cube throwing, or Ninja moves required or intended. If it feels wrong, it probably is. Look at change notes to see changes.

Very nice puzzle,I can forgive the dropper problem, because the logic of the puzzle is attractive.I think the key to solve the puzzle is use the cube to link inside and outside. Thumbs up!

Thanks for playing! I do agree with the timing and glitches being annoying, but I did my best to mitigate that. The last thing you mentioned in the spoilers isn't really a spoiler, that is just a return path in case you trap yourself.

Nice one, I mean other than the bugs and timing with retries. The problems are certainly workable, nowhere close to being tight and fixable by quicksave/loads which is nearly automatic with a player in higher level. Bugs blame BEE, cube dropper is jammed by closing too fast or sliding platform when suppose to be stationary moves ever so pixelly so the intended portal cannot stick, I like it as expert player but...

Hints: There is a portal gun upgrade take it slow, get the cube out first.
Timing is of the oscillation variety, not tight.
The return stairs next to Exit is there messing with you, not needed.

Nice! I have a feeling I broke it though lol is intended to place the light bridge off center so it hits the wall in front of the grating by the exit?

Happy to hear that you liked it! I will have to look into that, I hate the fact that cubes can get stuck.

Nice puzzle! This was a good take on the original Galvanize. I liked the addition of the mini-monoportal beginning that explores the chamber, and the geometry was very nice.

A note on the dropper: I've found that the cube getting stuck is due to it being slightly jostled as it falls down the long shaft that generates above the dropper. I was able to fix(?) this by opening a small space above the dropper and filling it with something.

Fun map, though I messed up a lot in the execution. Not really your fault, though. Thumbs up.
