Description
Chicago Burlington & Quincy

The Burlington Route, formally known as the Chicago,Burlington, and Quincy Railroad, was a Class I railroad that operated in the Midwest of the United States. The company merged with Northern Pacific and Great Northern Railroad to form the Burlington Northern Railroad. This train is modeled after their EMD E5 series of locomotives similar to other early E units in shape there were notable differences in the roof vents and on the nose. The passenger train is named after the Kansas City Zephyr that ran between Kansas City and Chicago. This Variant has red striping on the nose.

imported with a prototype mod to reduce the texture compression in game so the file size is large

How to Use

Train functions as a regular passenger train but due to its length some additional consideration might be needed when setting up passenger stations for it. Consult the "How to use very long passenger trains, building station complex" by REV0

@rich.riedl Seaboard E4 is on my to do list. It's not the highest priority since it didn't serve Kansas City but since it was the only E4 I have it on the list. Not sure when I will get to it but I plan on the more typical scheme and the demonstrator scheme from the worlds fair display.

Great work, and I noticed that you said you were working on E/F and GP9s, so ...

A Seaboard Air Line ( SAL ) EMD E4 or E6 in the Citrus color scheme for s Silver Meteor / Silver Star streamlined passenger trains or for the Orange Blossom Special heavyweight. They had a long, medium and short version.

Long was from from NYC to Mid Florida with at least an A-B-A setup, or at least an A-B, with the short going from there to Tampa/Sarasota with an A and the Medium going from mid-Florida to Miami with an A-B.
