"We seem to have become...truly desperate, a blind man is coming to answer our call. A musician, but not just any kind, this is a Bluesman. A crooner of the melancholy and forlorn that somehow makes way for cathartic ease. In hand is his trusty companion, a harmonica which sings a jubilant tune that all will dance to, whether they desire or not. However it appears this man has enough foresight to be...running away from something, but the poor devil is unaware that it’s closer than he realizes. " - The Ancestor

Role & Abilities
------------------------------------------

The Bluesman is a Bleeder/Group Buffing Offensive Hero.

The Bluesman enhances the damage of the party often at cost of his own well-being.

A Close Shave - Use: XXOO I Target: O-OXX


Cuttin' it close, eh?

Bluesman attacks first 2 targets with his straight razor plus a minor Bleed DoT and lowers Bleed resistance.

Everybody Move Yo’ Feet - Use: XOOO I Target: XO-OX


Y'all better get movin'!

Bluesman forces a shuffle on Enemy ranks 2+3 plus de-buffing with more damage taken & lowers Move Resist. There's a small percentage chance the Bluesman might get shuffled himself. This ability can only be done once every 2 rounds.

Singin’ the Blues - Use: OOOO I Target: XXXX


Battle long group buff for entire party plus stress relieved for only the Bluesman

I See Said… - Use: XOOO I Target: XXXX


GOTTA KEEP YOU ALIVE BEFORE THE DEAL COMES DUE
W-wha? I must’ve blacked out for a second.

Activates Possessed Mode.
Bluesman lifts up his glasses as the demon inside him buffs the hero for ACC, DODGE, & Crit for as long as this mode is active, at the cost of giving the Bluesman stress over time. This ability is a Free Action.

The Crossroads - Use: OOOO I Target: XXXX


Went down to the crossroads, made a deal with the Devil...

A group buff for CRIT & DMG percentage but lowers DODGE for 3 rounds. Bluesman gains +10% stress received debuff for 3 rounds and moves back one space.

StaggerLee Slash - Use: XOOO I Target: OOOX


A single attack that activates riposte, +20% DMG vs. Marked, & moves the Bluesman forward 1 space.

From the Otherside - Use: OOOX I Target: XXO-O


Say hello to my friends from the Otherside!

Little devils/imps rise up from the earth's crust and rake their talons on the two backline enemies for AoE damage. Marks enemies for 3 rounds & Destealthes.

Camping Skills

Penitent Prayer

Time Cost: 2

May the Light forgive me for deals I have made.

Effect: (Only available to religious heroes) Bluesman and another religious hero share a small prayer resulting in +25% Healing received for 4 battles.

Silver-Tongued Devil

Time Cost: 1

Bein' around you makes my heart sing...

Effect: 50% chance of -25 stress heal OR 50% chance of REJECTION which adds +20 stress added to one companion along w/ -7 hp taken to Bluesman.

A Little Nighttime Music

Time Cost: 4

Remember this tune when times get hard...

Effect: All companions including Bluesman: +8 Deathblow Resist
If Mortality debuff: -30 stress
(4 battles)

Tune Harmonica

Time Cost: 2

S’okay Monica, I’ll fix you up sweetheart...

Effect:
-20 stress to self, +25% Move Resist to Bluesman only.

~ Monica is the name of his harmonica.
~ The Bluesman is inspired by Robert Johnson (along with the myth surrounding his deal with the Devil) and Blind Willie Johnson.
~ His canon default name is Robert
~ This mod comes with 11 class-specific trinkets: 2 common, 1 uncommon, 1 rare, 1 very rare, 2 Crimson Court, 1 Color of Madness, and 1 Sunward Isles.
~ He has a town event so you can get him immediately
~ This mod is fully compatible with all 3 DLCs
~ Bluesman currently only supports English translation but please message me if you wish to include your language in localization!
