MAY DESIGNERS CHALLENGE

Submissions Due May 28th Stream LIVE on May 30th

Take Someone's Build that inspired you or that you felt you could improve in the past or presently, and do a COMPLETELY new build using it as your direct inspiration.

For example if I was to do the Nomad, I would start a new Starter CV Block and gather direct inspiration having the original Nomad next to it.

The Specifications Tab of the build should show that you are the original builder.

I don't want to see any "Paint Job's" or "Redecorating" I want to see solid improvement or reinterpretation of the original.

Also it needs to function for A11 minimum so adhere to W/V's and CPU

UPDATE May 9: Made a small update to this build since i build it with a 5860x1440 resolution which made the holographic (when in pilotseat) almost invisible when in "normal" 16:9 resolution.
Also made a change to the roofhatch whilst i was at it and added a "solar-roof" option :p


Note: I will not post pictures or stats before the Challenge stream has been held.. and with A12 coming there might be a need for a few changes as well.
Lets just hope that JRandall wont beat me to death with a shovel for having the audacity to make a sub par build in the Merc-Series :D

@Tamator Thank you so much.. Like you i to used the MX8 for god knows how long when i started playing (+ gigacore and a bunch of other JR builds).. This build was made for XCalibers Builders Challenge where we made a build from something that inspired us to build, so not sure i will dare push my luck at doing other JR-builds :)

This build is an outstanding tribute. Well done. Upon mentioning the Nomad...this was my favorite CV for over 300h of gameplay. So please, I can't wait to see another tribute build /drool

I fully Agree with Ann|e Noa|m , You are a big addition to this game, giving it a lot of style and showing the players whats possible to build. For me, you are one of the main reasons why i still love that game. On the other Hand, that ship is damn nice, i will try it out tomorrow when i playtest some of my new stuff!
