Description
The number on this re-skin - 6376 - was carried by a V8 locomotive in real-life. There was also an engine in New Zealand that carried the number; that engine was DQ 6376.

Tranz Rail black was/still is an interesting livery. It was launched by the privatised Tranz Rail company in June 2001, with DC 4323 being the first locomotive to receive it. TR black is a basic livery consisting of yellow and black, with either 'TR' lettering or the Tranz Rail logo. The colour choice has given rise to the nickname 'Bumble Bee'. Based on a bit of research, these are some of the locomotives that were painted in Tranz Rail black.

After the short-lived Toll Rail era (2003 to 2008), and the advent of the state-owned KiwiRail (1st of July 2008 onwards), the Tranz Rail black livery has begun to disappear as many of the aforementioned engines have been repainted into KiwiRail colours or withdrawn, as was the case with DC's 4421 and 4847. Sadly DC's 4300 and 4565 was rather unlucky, as they were scrapped around late 2018.

Today the livery is very un-common, and there's only about four engines still running in 'Bumble Bee' colours. Said engines are as follows:

DC 4853
EF 30013
EF 30042
EF 30071

I think someone might have already made the Blue Comet, but I'll see what I can do.

Can you make the Blue Comet livery for the Berkshire engine and Berkshire tender please? I understand if you don't want to create the livery. If you do however create the livery, thank you!

Assuming you mean the ES44AC numbered 831, I think the closest I'll ever get to making her is the CSX V8 I made a semi-long time ago. We haven't got a model in RL yet where the engine has a full-width short hood, and I don't think the DX or NR models would look right posing as an ES44AC.

(Replying to MisterSir) I will certainly make some more number variants for the Side Rods, but I'm waiting until Gaugepunk makes the new U26C/DX model before I do another MRS diesel.
