Disclaimer: This is a fan-made map for the now unfortunately discontinued Project Altirus Ravenfield mod.

I would recommend downloading all of the above mods, as this map was designed and tested with a specific configuration of vehicles & weapons.

Here's the recommended loadouts:

Blue: Use Syrvanian Weapons Pack, and the Common Altirus weapons

Red: Use Hettic Weapons Pack, and the Common weapons.

Both: Toss in some vanilla assets to your liking, such as the .357 revolver, the saber, medkits, smoke grenades, etc.

It is the opening months of the Second Leersog War.

You, are an ordinary man, a soldier of the Hettic Army. Or the Syrvanian army, if you prefer.

Regardless, the opening of the war came as a shock to all. None could have imagined that Syrvania, a nation devastated by invasion and civil war, a nation torn apart by revolution; could rise to challenge the mighty Kingdom of Hetland, a regional power that eclipsed it in most ways that mattered.

And yet, despite Hetland's superior infantry equipment, stronger tanks, better airplanes, and heavier industry; the opening of the war saw Syrvanian armies; armed with aging equipment and inferior aircraft, shatter Hettic armies and penetrate deep into the Hettic heartland.

Despite the shock of the early war, the struggle is far from over.

With logistics hanging on a razor's edge, and fresh Hettic armies moving in, the Syrvanian offensive could come to disaster at any moment.

Meanwhile, the Hettic front is in disarray. Syrvanian armies are pressing forward far faster than anyone could have anticipated, if the front is not stabilized now, the whole war could be lost.

Thus, we come to Petrovost, a fortified city on the banks of the Zlowice river, a key artery for the movement of supplies and troops across the kingdom.

If the Syrvanian army wishes to cut the lines of supply for nearly the entirety of the Hettic armies in the south, Petrovost must be taken.

Commander.

The next leg of the campaign for your force is to capture the City of Petrovost on the other shore of the Zlowice.

Elements of the Hettic 7th and 10th Divisions are in the city, so expect moderate armor and troops.

Expect minimal Hettic air presence, as our pilots have shredded a great many of their machines while still parked on runways.

A further point of note is the presence of an unidentified Hettic Battleship-class vessel in the city harbor. Our recon flights haven't gotten a good look, but expect trouble.

(Raven Briefing) Hettic Home Army, 10th Division

Greetings, commander.

I hope this telegram finds you well.

It seems that the Syrvanian dogs are beginning their advance towards your position.

Expect at least a Battalion's worth of men, along with the usual tanks and air support.

The Supreme Command wishes for me to remind you that while inflicting losses on the enemy and driving them back is desirable, your ultimate objective is to hold the city at any cost. A task that will be made much easier, if you deny the filth any foothold on the other shore.

Regarding your request to blow the bridges, I am afraid that I must reject you, as the Supreme Command is confident that we will soon have need of it, in our glorious counter-attack to sweep away the Syrvanian dogs from our land.

One last thing: The Battleship Grand Rorigan is in our possession, sitting idle in the drydock and waiting to be scrapped. I agree with your plan to arm the thing, and send it into the river to shell enemy forces. The bloody thing will probably be run aground and be lost to us, but its an obsolete junker anyway.

At least this way, the Syrvanians will get a rude awakening as several hundred tons of HE shells strike them.
