Combine Lunar Citadel

Description
*WARNING* Contains Portal 2 Spoilers!

Still WIP!

This Map does require Half-Life 2 Episode 1.

After They Concoured Earth, With the're advanced tecknology, The Combine started Colonising The Solar System. They Put Citadels (Establishing Bases) on The Moon & Mars. They are Also working on a Terraforming project on Mars (Terraforming for there kind). They also have Planet-Ships in this solar system. This map follows the same Fan-Fiction Storyline as my Combine PlanetShip Map.

This map is The Combine's Lunar Citadel.

IMPORTANT! The Day Version has Standard (Earth) Gravity. The trigger_gravity brush entinity only effects players, regardless of spawnflags. So I dicided it would be better to use sv_gravity to make moon gravity. if you want moon Gravity type "sv_gravity 100" (without quotes) into the console with sv_cheats set to 1. You also get to control the Map's Gravity this way. I reccomend doing it before you load the map if you can because the command dosn't always work on physics props if used after the map is loaded. The night version still uses trigger_gravity because the night map stopped co-operating after I removed that entinty. :(

Most of the lunar surface map was made by Valve, it came from the moon scene from the end of Portal 2. The Moon Textures & Models also came from The Portal 2 Moon Scene. Although, I was the one who ported those assets from Portal 2 Source Engine to Garry's Mod Source Engine. The Rest of the mapping was made by me.

There are some holes/cracks in some of the displacments because "Sew" didn't work after I merged Portal 2's Lunar Surface with my own lunar landscape. There is also a glitch where sometimes the Citadel Soundscapes don't stop playing when you go back to the lunar surface. The transition to the core also isn't very smooth. The Core Doors with The core symbol exclude the main control room window are opened by pressing use.

In The Future. I plan to add more areas, more detail, work on the gravity better, fix the citadel-to-core transition, and hopefully fix bugs.

Update:

Moon Texture Should Be Fixed. I am Absolutely Sure I Packed The Ported Portal 2 Moon Texture.

The Original Maps Should have the lunar surface textures packed in and Ported to VTF 7.4 Format. I created a copy and attempted another fix abervated as fix1

I decided to Provide VMF Files. They Are Packed into the gm_moonbase_combine and gm_moonbase_combine_night as their map name .txt, They can be extracted with BSP and GMA Extracting tools, than change the file name extention from .txt to .vmf Do not copy re-upload and claim my maps as your own, nor modify and re-upload without giving me credit!!!

Super map, but can you add that you can firstly- you can close shutters at core, and stabilize it

THIS TAKES PLACE AFTER PORTAL 2 WHERE PORTAL 3 COMES IN CHELL SAVES APERTURE SCIENCE DESTROY THE COMBINE OVERLORD WITH THE POWERFUL PORTAL GUN AND WHEATLY

Try installing Portal 2. I heard Facepunch updated GMod to be compatible with portal 2's assets

Might be portal 2 textures. You did use it's lunar surface after all.

I got busy with other things so I wasn't paying attention to these comments. I have an Idea what the problem with the missing moon texture might be, I will try to fix it in the next few days.
