Pike Mini Missile v2 - Fair-Play Patch

Description
This is a patch to the existing Pike Mini Missile v2 mod, which is itself a patch to the earlier Pike Mini Missiles[http//ttps] mod.

Why The 'Fair-Play Patch'?

In short: Pike mini-missiles were BS in terms of balance/realism/sanity due to their uncanny ability to pull a 180 degree rotation within a tenth of a second. This lead to players using Pikes as portable underbarrel AA launchers, that could kill an A-10 in 1 hit (a hit that was very easy to get for anyone that can keep their cursor centered on the A-10 for long enough for the pike to spin and thwack it out of the sky).

What Does This Patch Do?

First: Limits the rotation rate of pikes to 15 degrees per 1/10th of a second. This is still pretty fast and still gives a lot of re-aiming freedom.
Second: Limits the max angle of rotation under SACLOS control to 90 degrees. The missile therefore cannot perform a full backwards rotation.

These two patches combined mean you can't hit a fast-moving air target unless you're really really lucky (or have incredible aim).

Okay but... what's a Pike?

A pike mini-missile is an AP or AT rocket that fits within an underbarrel 40mm grenade launcher (ie, the thing on your primary rifle, rather than needing to fill the launcher slot). The upside is it's small, portable, easy to carry a lot of, and can be carried at the same time as a main launcher (so you could have pike AT missiles and and AA launcher, for example). The downside is that Pikes are much weaker than larger missiles and will struggle to do much against armored vehicles.

They can be guided by either SACLOS (point at your target to hit it), or LOAL (guided by laser designation). This is toggled by default with the 'H' key, but that keybind can be changed.

- This requires CBA.

- Works with, but does not require, ACE.

- Do not leave either of the old pike mods installed.

Credits

Majority credit for this mod go to "naPalm" for Pike v2 and "WraithWyvern" for Pike v1. This particular workshop upload is just a patch applied over the top of their work.

Hi just noticed a very strange incompatibility...while fair-play patch will disable Armor Plates System (which I suppose is based on hit EHs?), the original Pike v2 works fine with this APS...

when you say mixed, do you mean loaded? or can I not have the other version installed at all?

@j.nemodoe - I have it working on a dedicated server myself without issues. Installs the same as any other mod does on a server. Just have to make sure that players & the server are all running the same version of the same mod (ie don't have the original pikev2 cheaty version mixed with this pikev2 fair version)
