Description
This is the full version of my map, on this map I have put in the forests in the areas where they are in real life as well as doing as best I can do for the road networks. This will need a beefy rig to run as this is rather detailed to start with and this is without any transport on the map yet.

This map is of the east side of Devon with Exeter being as real as I could and then going down as far as Newton Abbot for the GWR mainline. It then covers all of Somerset with the West Somerset Heritage line from Minehead to Norton Fitzwarren. Also covering some of Avon (Bristol) area all the way to Swindon on the east. Finally the map has got some of Dorset including the Dorset heritage line from Swanage to Norden.

I used a real height map of the area I have done and hand place the towns/cities in the best locations according to real life as I can do with the scale involved. You can recreate the GWR mainline from Swindon to Newton Abbot, the Heart of Wessex line from Bristol to Weymouth, the London to South Wales line from Swindon to Cardiff and the Reading to Taunton line from Pewsey to Taunton. As well as a lot of branch lines.

IMPORTANT - you will need a beefy PC to run this when you got lots going on. Also if you don't want the stupid AI to remove or change the road networks I have put in I would recommend that you use my save file for this map with the main roads and motorways being locked, you can find this here - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2105550995

Hi love the map but cant seam to have the roads set to left hand drive, do you have any suggestions?

Would be cool if you could convert the 1525119988 The Flying Scotsman Challenge 12K from TF1. Would love to get all the real stops and trains going on it.

I might consider doing Bristol to London in the future with this much detail, not sure yet.

Yea I started on it but the scale was to small for such a big area, so I scrapped it and then made a height map using 4x Terrain.party maps to combine it to this on as they only give you 60km so to go to London would have been a whole lot more to combine but also shrinking the distance between cities and towns in game, taking away from what I wanted to make.

I have to say that i have enjoyed this map so far, but i thought you was going to make it all the way to London, but i still like this map. :)
