Atlas Hanger (Waypoint Hanger Modular)

Description
This is my revision of the Waypoint Hanger by JRandall. I love his various Waypoint builds but for some, like myself, when living on a planet with no O2 or hostile environment, going outside isn't always ideal! So I modified the building to connect to other buildings (Example being my modified version of the Waypoint Farm and soon to come Platform XL with it's own control tower). This comes with a heavily modified interior to include a extra 320k storage, a revised area for all shields, offline protection, land claim and other such accessories. This hanger is HUGE, so I felt it only fitting that it be a Tier 4. Couldn't fit everything without it being so. However, being tier 4 still leaves a lot of extra room for even more additional equipment.

This does involve some very careful maneuvering to connect to other facilities. Personally I started by placing this building first given it IS the largest building of them all. Remove any doors between facilities and, standing in the corridor, use the delete key to turn the building so connections align. Then use home/end key to move it closer or further and pageup/pagedown to raise and lower to match. It involves some patience but I found it wasn't too difficult. Once buildings are connected, you will need to make sure there are two doors (one connected to each building) on each side of the circular window (included with attached buildings. This will leave a single block of space with no oxygen but you can pass through quickly enough without any concern or even bothering to put on your helmet. I suggest spawning it in creative to get a feel before doing so in a survival or multiplayer.

Still, what a thrill it is to play by combining these three modules together. jrandall gave Hangar, and you brought the whole thing to perfection.

Love it , but did have to modify it slightly to make air tight on some worlds glass doors being one of them. I love what you did with the core.

Thanks for this ! This modular stuff is brilliant.
I was just wondering... Isn't this a bit big to hang some clothes ? :)

Thank you Ravaged

@jrandall Always welcome to do so!

@Jetli Home/End keys worked for me to move it closer and pageup/pagedown to move it up and down. I don't think I even have one that works for left/right so maybe your keybindings got changed or are just different? Never changed those bindings myself. However, you could try just looking down to bring it closer and then move your avatar forward/back to make minor adjustments. Either way, it takes a fair bit of patience (and I suggest practice in creative) to get it just right.

None of the commands allow for moving the BP farther/closer. Only 90degree turns, left/right, up/down. I must be missing something?

Very cool mod! If you would like I can add it as a modded version to the Waypoint Hangar post. And thanks!

Thanks ⚔BAPHO⚔! I don’t consider myself a great builder but was definitely happy with the way that part turned out.
