Taz

Taz is a retired wrestler-turned commentator and manager.

As a wrestler, Taz, sometimes spelled as Tazz, is most known for his run with ECW during the 90's and with WWE in the early 2000's. He is a 2-time ECW World Champion and the company's third-ever Triple Crown champ.

Injuries forced Taz out of the ring not long after he arrived in the then-WWF. Taz worked as a commentator on Smackdown for several years before leaving WWE in 2009.

Taz debuted for TNA a few months later, initially serving as Samoa Joe's manager. He would transition into color commentary soon after, although he occasionally was involved in angles (including joining Aces & Eights).

In 2019, Taz started making sporadic guest commentator appearances for AEW, then became a permanent member of the broadcast team in 2020. At Double or Nothing, Taz accompanied the debuting Brian Cage, aligning himself with the new number one contender for the AEW World Championship.
