Noddyngineering Player UI only! (v.12)

Description
This mod contains only my player ui piece which adds visible/invisible item slots.
The slots still apply stat increases so purists will want to avoid using armor which will unbalance.
But since its litterally mainly for show.....

Given how worthless armour generally is you pretty much need two sets of it. lol. This definitely is better, I had found a mod before that gave "vanity" armour slots but then the stupid idiot ruined it and any compatibility with inventory mods by giving it 10 player inventory pages as well, so I skipped over it. This one is much better.

As to the OP items, there should be versions of each model with basic level 1 stats. I had to create about 10 odd versions of each item, to a certain level range as I couldn't find the relationship between the item level and its drop range, in the beginning I had level 100 pistols dropping from the opening map, nice for cash but impracticle in the long run

iirc there was a problem with the tool tips, because it would appear the tool tips compare all items of a certain type, eg all chest armor is compared, with the inclusion of the additional slots for the pet, this became a nightmare, as the game would show comparisions between what your pet was wearing and the item you had on mouse over. I found looking cool trying out armor modelling better than working out the tool tip code....

Personally I don't mind being OP so I like the stat bonuses kept just fine, gives me two layers of equipment, one focused on style and one on substance while reaping the rewards of both.

Suggestions; Adjust where the compare windows show up for rings. With 5 ring slots some of the windows are overlapping pretty badly making it difficult to see what I have equipped.

Also, some slots don't show both of the slots for compare. Don't remember which ones specifically, but I know boot slot was one.

Also, highlighting some of the empty slots you added brings up a tooltip that is incorrect. Boots hidden slot is one of them but they misidentify as another type of slot. Noted this in the full version of Noddyngineering as well.

or at least make cosmetic items level 1

Is there anyway to wipe ALL stats? not just affixes?

BTW it doesnt remove set bonus though, but this doesnt really matter cause all the models for the sets double up with other individual items i think.

Hey man was just mucking around with GUTS to try and think of a work around for the extra slots adding stats.
I remembered that torchlight enchanting had a chance to totally disenchant your item, including the original stats. Looking in GUTS that effect is still there and it actually works.

I used Malo the town chanter as an example. All you have to do is change the disenchant chance to 100% and make the enchant chance 0 and it will remove all stats on an item.

You could make it a separate NPC with a warning message in the ui if you wanted to, but I tested the disenchant thing and it works.

This is a quick little way to let uniques be used as cosmetic items without being too OP.

nice one, gives me a reason to start trying to save junk items, just in case they look cool :)
