The crates may contain any of the following items:

Defense
These items prevent or heal damage
Item
Ability
Notes
Apple
Heal 10 hp
Can't go over 100 hp
Bananas
Heal 20 hp
Can't go over 100 hp
Potion
Health regenerates to max
Can't go over 100 hp
Shield
Prevents damage for short time


Offense
These items affect the player who last attacked you
If nobody has attacked you, the effect will reverse onto you
Item
Ability
Notes
Axe
Cuts off random limb of target
Can "miss" by hitting a bodypart that can't be cut
Pin
Freezes the target for a few seconds
Ring
Teleport target to you
Will teleport them slightly above you, likely making them fall over

Other
These items' effects are neither good nor bad
