Description
DISCLAIMER: This addon sucks. It causes crashes 90% of the time. Do not use this addon. It will crash your server. If you decide to use this addon regardless of this disclaimer, I will provide NO SUPPORT. If you want to try and make this addon better, all the code and resources are on the Git linked at the bottom of this description. Do whatever you want with it.

POST ANY BUG REPORTS IN THE PINNED THREAD OR I CANNOT HELP YOU

These shield generators were designed to be used on SWRP servers by gamemakers/gamemasters/whatever you want to call them. You can edit their properties using the context menu and change their settings.
Currently there are 4 shield generators: 2 red, and 2 blue. One of each color does not have HP and is thus invincible.

List of editable settings:
- Enabled | true/false (use this to toggle the shield if IsUseable is not enabled)
- IsUseable | true/false (sets whether or not you can toggle the shield by pressing E on the generator. Default is false)
- ShieldSize | 5 - 200 (changes the size of the shield. You must disable and re-enable the shield after changing this setting. Default is 30)
- HP | 1 - 5,000,000 (changes the amount of damage the shield can take before it breaks, default is 10,000)
- IsSphere | true/false (changes whether the shield is a sphere shape or dome shape. You must disable and re-enable the shield after changing this setting. Default is false)

When a shield's HP becomes fully depleted, it will deactivate the shield and it can't be reactivated by pressing E for 30 seconds. Even if a shield is on cooldown from being destroyed, a gamemaker/etc can still force it on again by using the 'Enable' tickbox.

You can still use CAP and not use wiremod (still need to sub it tho). The shield works without it being wired up, same for all things in CAP. The only way it will require anything else to work, is if Space Build 3 was also subscribed to (but its not required if you are only using the good stuff, like the stargates, doors, shields, cloaking fields, weapons, etc. :steamthumbsup:

CAP is absolutely better than this garbage and you should absolutely use it for shields over this thing if you don't mind the extra bloat. I might remake this some time in the future to not crash if I have time but no promises. Source code has been freely available for a while if anyone wanted to do it themselves though.

CAP might be discontinued, but unlike this mod, it works. Not to mention CAP adds more than just a shield, it adds many many things, including (but not limited to) a stealth field generator where all entities and objects inside are invisible. :steamthumbsup:

It's sad that this mod is unsupported, it's probably one of the only configurable forcefield mods out there.

with CAP being discontinued, this seems like it might be the best shield option out there
