It is just for a more orderly, consistent way to display the resulting patterns/colors when testing.
Unless you are doing that, I wouldn't suggest you use it.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOD USE:
1) substitute your hybrid animal in 3 places below. marked with //SUBSTITUTE HYBRID INFO HERE
1A) "name": "4_discus", <- substitute name of your hybrid's FBX
1B) "guiScale": 1.5, <- change scale up or down for your Hybrid (optional)
1C) "patterns","hues", "hueCodes", "patternCodes" <- under "hybridizer" substitute your Hybrid's patterns/hues
2) create new game - sandbox recommended
2a) place a "display_hybrids_tank" of dimensions needed to show your number of Patterns and Hues (up to 10x10)
2b) place rows/columns of your hybrid for the total number of Patterns and Hues in the "display_hybrids_tank"
(found under plants - labeled "discushyb_disp", or use search "discushyb")
2c) use cheat mode to shift pattern and/or hues for the placed hybrids (see main discord #modding-info for details on cheat codes)
