Description
The MARPAT or Marine pattern camouflage was first introduced between 2002 and 2004 to supplant the Camouflage Utility Uniform. The pixalated micropattern of MARPAT more effectively mimics the rough boundaries of natural settings compared to the former macro pattern which had large splashes of color.
