Description
Cap Tweaks Lite Edition
This mod is designed to be a lighterweight, lower balance impact version of Cap Tweaks.

Summary
Ideally the goal with this mod is to make a version of Cap Tweaks that doesn't step away quite so heavily from Larian's intended balance for Lone Wolf characters now. As most excess damage comes from getting a lot of points into combat skills too early for the game to keep up, the combat cap has been lowered most drastically out of all the original changes from Cap Tweaks - ideally I still want to give lone wolf characters more room to grow however, so the attribute cap is still fairly increased from the vanilla game.

As shown in the image, the complete changes are:
Attribute cap is moved from 40 to 60.
Skill cap is moved from 10 to 12.
Civil cap is moved from 5 to 6.
Default carry weight increased from 100 to 200.

Like the original cap tweaks, these changes should apply to all player characters.

Want to support the creator?
If you'd like to contact me for something, or otherwise keep up with me outside of Steam, you can typically find most of what I'm up to lately through my Carrd page.[fjarunsigr.carrd.co] Following on any of the platforms in my Carrd would be appreciated, and they're a bit more reliable to contact me through than Steam is.

How can I get help?
If you need help quickly, try contacting me on my Twitter. If you just want to tell me about a potential issue, feel free to use the Steam comments - just be aware that these are slower as the notifications are largely useless.

Do not try to create mod page discussions for help at all. They are by far the worst method, as there is no notification for when one is started whatsoever.

If and when I start actively modding again, I will see what I can do to offer alternative download options. For the moment, this is offered as-is.

That's interesting. I'm guessing it's just a case of the game refusing to update the profile to even notice new things then, not sure what would be the cause of that. The file becoming read-only could but no idea what would cause that short of manually setting it as the user themselves.

@Fjarunsigr I just found the fix for it: you can delete the modsettings.lsx file in the profile folder...(Documents/Larian/DOS2DE/PlayerProfiles/your profile/modsettings.lsx) the game will recreate it when you start the game. That fixed it for me. Thanks for the great mod!

That's an odd one.
It could be steam being a nuisance, that wouldn't be new. Unsubscribe, resubscribe, launch the game to main menu then close the game and see if Divinity suddenly has a workshop download.
Sometimes steam just won't start the process for some reason.

You can also check my docs > larian studios > dos 2 de > mods
pretty much all of my mods should have their name in their file name, something like cap_tweaks_version should be in there somewhere if it downloaded correctly.

Note that if you are playing DOS2 Classic my mods also just will not appear, as a rule - Def Ed versions only.

The mod isn't showing in the mod list. Any fix for that? Thx!

Oh it adjusts the maximum values for everyone. The edits themselves are realistically unrelated to Lone wolf in any way - its just Lone Wolves are far more likely to reach the maximum values of attributes etc as they have twice the points.

Will this work with a party of 4 though. I wanted to make a 4 person slightly stronger
