You want to make buildings impassable ? Well then you came to the right place

This mod searches the entire database of furniture and gives you the option to make them impassable.
Should work with pretty much every mod.

Default option is that no furniture is impassable.
Check out the mod settings to change that.

Making beds and chairs impassable will result in them not beeing able to sleep and eat.
This will make them impassable for you as well as your enemies.

  • See if the the error persists if you just have this mod and its requirements active.
  • If not, try adding your other mods until it happens again.
  • Post your error-log using HugsLib or the standalone Uploader and command Ctrl+F12

BTW Mlie, I was the original commissioner of the original mod, the one that "changed his mind to include all things". I appreciate your work on keeping this updated.

So, there WONT be errors if the only things I make impassible are not needed for pawns (chairs and beds) or storage? It just being things like tables and workbenches they cant crawl over are close enough to what im craving

@Waterkate This mod will not be able to fix errors due to how the game handles impassable objects. For anyone who wants to modify how pawns choose their paths I strongly recommend Path Avoid instead of modifying passability of buildings.

@madmatt88 yes, this is unfortunately my experience as well, but only for some actions it seems. for instance, pawns can place/take food from shelves at will but will only wear clothes on impassable shelves if forced to. ill do a little more testing then make an error report

I had no idea that this mod existed, but I am now very happy. It was so annoying to set up a nice organised workshop with proper aisles for people to walk, only to watch them climb over the art, machining, and smelting benches on their way to the stonecutting bench.

ah. that moment when you find a mod exactly being what you were looking for, then realize it's 1.not-4 - and then scroll down, not because you hope someone would've linked a continuation, but because you already EXPECT to find mlie's continuation post there.

In the configuration menu, there is no way of enabling or disabling multiple items quickly. If I want to make 5 things impassable or passable, the only way of doing it is by clicking on one of them once, followed by clicking on the white arrow once, then repeat it 4 more times. I have tried:
- Double clicking.
- Right clicking.
- CTRL/Shift/ALT + Clicking/Double Clicking.
- Selecting multiple items with CTRL/Shift.
- Dragging to select.
- Arrow keys + Enter.

Additional options to filter the list by mod, item type, category, etc. would also go a long way. As it stands, it's better to get used to pawns passing through furniture OR use QOL to add impassability every time something shows up, than it is to configure this mod.

My experience indicates that receation items must be passable or pawns cannot interact. Anyone getting the same?
