D&D Table Tomb Of Annihlation Ver 0.61 | One World

Description
10/10/20: I have put this project on hold

DISCLAIMER: I'm just some dude who's just trying to create an efficient table using One World and Tomb Of Annihilation as a resource while using and modifying already pre-existing workshop items for maps and stuff. If you have any issues please feel free to contact me about them.
Description:
ARE YOU A DM or player? DO YOU WANT TO RUN TOMB OF ANNIHILATION(TOA) ON TABLETOP SIMULATOR? DO YOU WANT IT TO BE EFFICIENT AND ALMOST SEEMLESS? WELL THIS MIGHT BE THE PERFECT TABLE TO DO EXACTLY THAT!
This is (currently) a bare-bones table for 4-6 players + DM to run TOA, its got the maps and its got One World. Ideally you can download this map and create some characters and run TOA. Of course the DM is going to have to prepare and read a fair amount of content before they can actually do it but this is a great tool where all the maps are prepared to be used and furthermore it's in a 3D SPACE. In its current state I would like to avoid adding things that aren't neccesary (i.e. 200+ models and dice bags) and that people won't use in this version but you are more than welcome to modify it so that it fits your needs.

What does this mod have right now?
  • You can host and play D&D on tabletop with little issues beyond performance/loading
  • All maps currently that are found in TOA are loaded and prepared to be used in 2D formatting both annotated and non-annotated aswell.
  • You could functionally run the entire TOA campaign if you read the content and used this as medium.
  • Fun tools: ONE WORLD, Initiative Roller 2.0, Time of Day Changer, Weather effects buttons, Sound effect button, dice rollers.
How to One World in this map:
  1. Select the GM color and head over to your side you should see a pad/tablet like thing with "One World" on it
  2. Click the "i" to initialize One World
  3. Up in the top right there's a next option select that and then navigate to "Chult" and this is the world map.
  4. Single Click on links to get the name of the location and double click to open that map.
  5. From this you can build things and pack them away for future storage.
  6. Additional Note: If you have any questions pertaining towards other functionality I really might not know but feel free to ask.

Changes:
I plan to update this mod whenver I want cause I get lazy adding small/large amounts of content.
Did you see the number on the picture change? That means I've updated this mod! Go and check out the changes in the change logs!

What is my idea of 1.0?:
Hopefully I can achieve:
  • 3D rendered maps to use for TOA and gameplay
  • In addition to the 3D rendered maps I will have a separate 1.0 that lacks 3D maps but will still contain all map content required to run the campaign. Thus leading to my next goal.
  • Have this loadable on my friends crappy computers! If not I'm myself will stick to the non-3D version but will still complete (again hopefully and ones that I think deserve them) all 3D maps.
  • Clearing up the DM side of the table to give more useful information while DM'ing
  • Add tools to streamline the game: as of now I want take a loot at rolling for initiative and something similar to fog of war but like actually usable. In the current situation of FOW I've opted to use dark grey, dark blue, or black blocks to cover key information that players would not have, then delete it when they gain that information.
  • In game on 3D maps i've made so far I've had issues where the players will have issues clipping near objects and i'm looking to that too.
  • End game: Have a playable version of TOA ready for the community to play on tabletop.
  • Projection so far I plan to have this finished sometime spring 2021 if everything goes well but I'd say if you're creative enough you can play through this in its current version.

Process Of Table Creation for Version 0.5:
  1. I started with this as a base: D&D Table (Thanks to Spy316)
  2. Added a bit of this in which is a lighter version of the other table: D&D Table Lighter Version (Fater Alicorn)
  3. Loaded in Basic table as I liked it into the One World table and lined up everything so that it can work.
  4. Layed out basic tools
  5. Proceeded to get images for every map of chapter 1-2 of TOA and photoshopped them onto a map texture.
  6. Added maps and links for everything in chapter 1-3

A Hardy Thank You To:
The battle map creators I've taken from:
If you find any of the the battle maps interesting please go support the creators of those maps, they all do excellent jobs.
Additionally if you are one of the creators of the battle maps and don't want it in this workshop table I will gladly remove the map per your request.
Everyone workshop item I've taken from!
  • Table Creator: Fater Alicorn
  • Table Creator: Spy316
  • The Creator of One World: TattleTale (And anyone else who helped him)
  • Creator of Initiative Roller: MrSlump

Additional Notes:
Wizards Of the Coast, i'll take this down if this isn't allowed.
If you have any issues or questions about any of the tools with the the table not working or have suggestions tell me in the comments.

If you are using this tool and are a fellow DM please give me insight or feedback on how your games are going as well in the comments or even add me directly! I'd be more than happy to make changes that could heavily improve this table be it tools or likewise. In addition to that if you need certain files or pictures from me in particular I will gladly provide them to you if you ask.

Hey, I've also got a tomb of annihilation workshop that I'm currently DM'ing my way through, let me know if you want to collaborate on making more the 3D assets, I've built a few myself.

If you have them cached, I believe you can re-upload to steamworks and host them that way, but I'm not sure.

I've been working on trying to figure that out but honestly wouldn't know where to start with that. likely going to grab new resources

Love this. Looks like the small collider from michaelbrandeberry is missing. Unfortunately this is true for many 3D dnd maps on the workshop that use colliders from that site. Thanks again!

If you want to make changes to the maps this is the place I was taking the basic maps from: Reddit DnD
I plan to add both annotated and non-annotated versions each map you can switch between.
