Goldrock Labour Camp

Welcome to Goldrock Labour Camp where your every need will be taken care of by yourself and your comrades. You'll be designated a cell based on whatever inmate was "transferred" to another "prison" due to accidents in the work environments. In this Labour Camp you will be set to finish experimental and extremely dangerous jobs, which from there on out will be sent off to scientists working on safer work environments for every human on this earth. Your sacrifice will not be in vein, worker.

How to install custom tileset

1. Download the tileset from the link provided down below.
2. Move the tileset into C:\Steam\steamapps\common\The Escapists\Data\images\custom (Note that your steam folder may be located in a different directory)
3. Move (or Replace) the file with the name tiles_cus_irongate to a different location and drop the tileset in the folder. (Note that the tilesets name must be "tiles_cus_irongate", if not the game will not work)

How to install custom music (Optional)

1. Download the .OGG file from the link provided below.
2. Move the .OGG file into C:\Steam\steamapps\common\The Escapists\Music (Note that your steam folder may be located in a different directory)
3. Move (or Replace) the file with the name "irongate" to a different location and drop the file you just downloaded into the folder. (Note that the files name must be "irongate", if not the game will play no music wherever the irongate freetime music plays)

Note: You can play the prison without the tileset but you'd have to deal with flowers everywhere, and I mean everywhere.

Great prison. Escaped on Day 7. The prison's layout is really interesting. A lot of prisons on the workshop have really samey layouts that blend into each other. They're not necessarily bad layouts. They're just very similar and follow similar layout structures/patterns. This prison's layout however is very unlike typical layouts, which I like a lot. It's confusing and takes time to adjust to. Providing a map on the workshop page would've really helped easing players into this layout, but once I knew my way around I quite liked it. Great escape too, didn't feel needless complicated nor did it throw curveballs like requiring a completely different chipping item in order to progress last minute. The only problem with the prison I found was that you could get softlocked on one of the towers you zipline onto. If you walk off, you drop down onto the support beams which are classified as floor tiles, softlocking you. Other than that, great prison. Would recommend.

Absolutely amazing prison. The prison is very visually appealing, especially with the custom assets. I think the best part about it is learning how to escape. SPOILER if you haven't escape it yet! When I first got onto the roof, the massive complex of roof pipes and ziplines didn't make sense at first. It took me at least six trips to map out the whole thing, with the rest of my days spent acquiring the materials to escape. Overall, very great prison!

Best things on your's maps are that tiles and level disign.
If you will make another map, i will play it.

The layout might be confusing at first, I have spend myself 3 days wondering where is the Job Application Center, but once you learn it, you can't not love it. Almost every area can be accesed from 2 sides. I particurally enjoyed that Cells weren't too close to each other and a seemingly close Generator, needed a long way around to be turned off. It helped me come back from a break from The Escapists, as it wasn't too hard and it wasn't too easy either. Overall, it was a great expierence!
