Description
Hydroponics Expansion (optional):
Want to grow your own Tobacco, Weed, Shrooms, Rubber and Coffee? I've made a merger mod that goes on top of this one for added features like nicotine addiction, activated carbon and overdose related effects on top of craftable rollies. Click here for full detail.

Cigar Update:
"Fine Zuban Cigar" is the newer added item. Has the exact same effects of a nicotine cigarette except.
  • Second hand smoke area of effect gives users around the smoker reduced benefits/debuffs
  • Uses more oxygen around the room
  • Should burn twice as long as cigarettes

Weed Update:
"Weed cigarette" is the new item added. Good for people fixing electric stuff that get burns frequently and don't want to bother the medic. It can be deconstructed and bought, but it is more expensive than a tobacco cigarette. You can combine weed cigarettes by dragging them together (no such feature for tobacco).

"High" Buff
  • Slowly Heals Blunt Trauma and Burns
  • Slowly Cures Opium addiction and withdrawal
  • Very slowly apply the two above while "high" at 0.01
  • High goes away in time
  • Peak state at 121% heals you 10% faster at the rate of 0.1 but disappears as soon as you hit 120% which is the old rate of 0.01. So you must smoke and never stop smoking to gain the maximum beneficial buff at all times. But doing so gains you...

"Marijuana Paralysis" Debuff
  • Slowly makes you slower everytime you smoke
  • Goes away in time
  • Non linear mobility debuff all the way to 0% mobility and visual cues to warn the smoker when reaching peak state.
  • Peak state at 121% stuns you as a simulated a green out. Disappears in one second at 120%
  • It is gained twice as slow as the "high" buff. It's all balanced to make it not too good or too bad. Should encourage moderation in use.

General Info:
Cigarette Mod Overhauled with buff and debuff when smoking, disassembly options and it disappears in full when finished. Campaign friendly, and simulates real life smoking effects.

There are two packages of marlboro now, one is "New" one is "Old". New texture is in gold and red and reflects a premium smoke while the old package is probably someone trying to rip you off in a corner store.

Cigarette smoking now makes a sound off a loop of gentle smoking noises, and if you manage to keep smoking without taking a breath, you will lose oxygen and even pass out. But before you do there should be an audible "cough" noise emitted from the smoker to warn you that, it's probably not a good idea to smoke a whole cigarette in one drag.

(Due to recent comments I've changed the default medical.xml to the organ damage one so no more wavey screen)
Including a "cigs r bad" replacement file that will make you both lose oxygen and suffer organ damage.

Deconstruct changes:
All cigarettes deconstruct into 1/10th of a whole rubber, slime bacteria and carbon.

All new packs deconstruct into two piece of plastic while the older one gives back only one.

Smoking effect changes:
Smoking gives you vigor/strength, at a fill rate to about 1/2 full vigor bar when consuming one whole cigarette, but if you smoke too aggressively you'll need a medic to give you morphine to cure organ damage.

You will not be able to smoke in the water anymore, it makes bubbles.

Once you finish a whole cigarette, it will disappear from your inventory.

Cigarettes consume 50 oxygen in the hull, so a lot of people smoking in a small room will create problems for non-smokers.

Campaign shops changes (ONLY WORKS IN SINGLEPLAYER CAMPAIGN):
Now you can buy cigarettes at standard pricing all over the map, at considerable differences in where you can acquire new packs and old packs. Old packs although available and cheap, come at a gamble of 0-10 cigarettes in a container, while the new packs come in a full pack of 12 every time.

hey, i know the update just came out, but i wanted to tell that this mod doesn't work now since the cigarettes and other stuff doesn't appear in shops
