Make Your Own Mech

389 Bricks

I'll be working on new mechs very slowly as I've become very busy with real life stuff. So as an apology for the lack of Mechs, I'll release the mechanism I use to control my Mechs (specifically the ones with four or more legs) so you too can potentially make your own Mechs.

While I won't go into detail on how the sensors and stuff work, It is designed so that adding legs should be as simple as placing actuators and setting them to the correct channels.

As help, an example Mech is included to show how the actuators are set up.

A bit of explanation is also included in this creation for reference.

If everything goes right, your Mech too can crawl like mine.

This mechanism in particular is the latest version I have only used on my latest Mech, the Mastadon. It works just the same as the mechanisms I use for my earlier quadrupedal and higher mechs, all the way back to the Demolisher, just smaller and compact.

(Steampunk Airship carried by about 100 legs not included)

___________THINGS TO NOTE___________
• Good fps recommended for best reliability
• As with all mechs like this, the legs are glitchy and might phase through the ground and break several laws of physics
• Reduced FPS also reduces the speed of the mech through either feet clipping through ground or less friction
• Flat ground recommended
• If the vehicle fails to move properly, go into the editor, select any block, and place it again

I think that breaking physics could help in a fight if done right

Am I allowed to make a mini version of the Mark XXIX mastodon hexapedal heavy if I give full credit?

Ah, using custom activation really makes it cleaner.
