Description
DON'T USE THIS ONE! INSTALL THE NEW VERSION HERE!
SNAV ULTIMATE FOR GARRY'S MOD

You need [SCP] Guthen's Addons Base to get this working, else you won't been able to spawn the entity and configure the script.

Features
─ Pickable S-NAV Ultimate Entity
  • Toggable with a key (default `M`)
  • Shows a Minimap
  • Shows Surrounding SCPs players with configurable distance
  • Droppable with a chat command `/dropsnav`
─ Configurable (`guthscpbase` in the console)

Convars
─ guthscpsnav_forcemap MAP_NAME : Server; Force a minimap image to be use instead of current map's image (see the list above). Default: ""

Known Issues
"The addon doesn't work!/I can't spawn the S-NAV!"
Be sure to have installed [SCP] Guthen's Addons Base on your server. Verify that you can open the configuration menu with `guthscpbase` in your game console.

"The model is shown as an error!/The S-NAV entity is bugged!"
The default model comes from the SCP Assets addon, ensure it is installed both in your client (=game) and the server.

If the problem remains and you are on a beta version (like 'x86-64' or 'chromium'), try reinstalling it by switching the beta version back and forth.

"Could not connect to map database!"
This message appears on the S-NAV Ultimate when the current map does not have an assigned minimap.

If the map you are using is equivalent with one of the Supported Maps, then use the server convar guthscpsnav_forcemap (see above) to use a specific minimap.

Otherwise, there are two ways : either you create one yourself (with use of `guthscpsnav_generate` and a digital software) and put it in `materials/guth_scp/snav/MAP_NAME.png` or you ask me to make one.

@Razortosh Alright, thanks for the details, I'm gonna write a small paragraph for the error model issue (which tend to be recurrent) in the description. Have fun with the SNAV :p

No, the modifications on my 32 bit (default) version of the game are not present in my go-to x86-64 install. One of the addons might've simply installed incorrectly, which a back and forth switch between the "betas" fixed as a side effect. Thank you for your quick response, however.

@Razortosh Oh okay, I have never tested this branch before. I just tried and it works too, I guess it's caused by the modifications you have made in your game?

Hi, reinstalling the x86-64 branch fixed my issue. Not sure why that was the case, but it seems to have some room for error as Portal RTX modifications do not work at all with it.

@Razortosh Well, that's odd, if you installed the base + the assets this should work. I just tried by myself and it works fine (and no differences from the workshop & github versions). I have no idea right now

Hi, I have all the necesarry content downloaded, yet the S-Nav appears as the infamous error model with the CB "pick up" icon above it. Interacting with it does nothing, and so does pressing the key bound to the S-Nav. Is this my fault, or is some update causing trouble?
