Description
FFV REMASTERED

This mod pack has been designed and expanded as per the request of many Arma community members, it may not be to everyone’s liking using launcher from vehicles. However it is your choice of what vehicle you wish for the launchers to be used in.
Included with the mod are example vehicles with the FFV Remastered coded running.

All you will need to do is follow the instructions included in the mod folder to add your own vic, or copy some of the code to a core Arma asset to allow the launcher to work.
In any case it is your choice what vehicle you want launchers on all you have to do is call the base code for FFV Remastered.

Please note this is version one of the mod and animations included, we will be looking to add more example vehicles and update all the animations further for every A3 asset that will use a launcher.
At current you can not use launcher from a standing position and sitting position in any A3 asset, have fun and check your field of view before your fire!!!!

This addon for Arma 3 is released under APL

DO NOT REUPLOAD TO STEAM WORKSHOP:
NO Steam Workshop re-uploads. We will remove any re-uploaded content. Please feel free to add this mod to your custom mod pack and enjoy using launcher from any vehicle.

If you would like a custom vehicle setup with your own skin etc, please let one of the GCGN Mod Team Members know and we will see what can be done for you.

CUSTOM SETUP INSTRUCTION

If you would like to add the use of launchers in a seated position, all you need to do is change the values like in the example below and have this mod added to your server mod list.

You do not have to change any code in this mod, but you will need to add your own vehicle class or change A3 core vehicles by coping the config and changing a few values.

Example:
gunnerInAction="passenger_inside_7"; [Set you inside default animation here]
gunnerAction="gcgn_ffv_sitting_rpg"; [Call the GCGN sitting animation “gcgn_ffv_sitting_rpg”]
isPersonTurret=2; [Add this value if it is not there]
forceHideGunner=0; [Add this value if it is not there]
canHideGunner=1; [Add this value if it is not there]
allowLauncherIn=0; [Show and allow launchers while turned in = set to “0” to disable and “1” to allow]
allowLauncherOut=1; [Show and allow launchers while turned out = set to “0” to disable and “1” to allow]

Copy and Paste Code, this may need to be tweaked depending on the seating position.

The base code will work with any A3 core vehicles or any other mod available for Arma 3.
None of the core A3 has been changed and in turn this means our FFV-REMASTERED code will work with any mod vehicle for Arma 3.

This mod was designed as a member of the A3 forums contacted us asking to be able to use RPG’s from a heli, he has been looking for this feature for years. No one over the years had wanted or able to make this. It tuned out many did not want this feature; however, it’s everyone’s right to mod a game the way they like.
In turn, we wanted to use launcher from ATV’s so here it is a custom remastered FFV that allows you to use launchers from a seated position, you get to pick and choose what seats can use the launcher, as it is your choice of how you want to use your A3 vehicles.

Im trying to add it to my antistasi server. Ive installed the mod but cant find where the vehicle config files are to adjust them.

Just a quick update I will be launching an update for some of the animations with in the next two weeks, if anyone has found any bugs please post them here. As that will allow me a way to track them and get them sorted.

It will work with RHS and CUP, all you need to do is copy the examples vic PBO's included and call the class name of the RHS or CUP vic name, if you want a custom config made for RHS or CUP one of the MOD team may be able to help, if they have free time.
