Atlas TT-0620 (Tank Transport SV)

Atlas Dynamics is proud to present the TT-0620, our first custom HV tank transport shuttle.

Designed with the knowledge that some capital vessels are just too large to land, either on some planets or on any planet at all, it came to our surprise how few options there were for a more general HV transport, particularly for transporting the large tanks (such as jRandall's MCRN Ballista as shown) required to defeat those pesky top level base installations. Normally, Atlas Dynamics focuses on repurposing and refurbishing your favorite forms of transportation. And that was the original goal. To modify a classic, small transport SV into one capable of carrying the larger tanks. However, after much drilling and sawing and welding and a LOT of head banging...we realized a simple modification was just not going to cut it. So we went to work, building the 0620 from ground up. That being said, and given this is our first true build from scratch, it may still require a bit of further testing to account for all possible scenarios. Volume, weight and gravity can certainly be a fickle thing. So any issues or suggestions on our first full production, we are certainly open to hearing!

NOTE: Currently only tested with a handful of larger tanks. Your experience may vary but I was able to lift off from a high grav with fully loaded cargo carrying the Ballista. Was a bit slow but....it's high grav! :)
