Description
The Kagayaku was inspired by Kieve’s KCV Soleil LXS. It was my go-to starter CV when I was still new to Empyrion and yet to start building myself.

This is my first CV made with steel blocks as opposed to my usual hardened steel criteria. This is to make it more accessible on Starter planets, increase the manoeuvrability and staying within T1 constraints. Although, it still requires a bit of Sathium which can be easily obtained from salvaging POIs and Crashed Capital Vessels.

There are allocated spaces for T2 CPU, Shields, an additional Constructor, fuel tanks and thrusters. The room for upgrades makes it a very versatile ship that extends its life span beyond the early game. In one of my runs, I started with this and went straight to a Kamonohashi XS MKII but that required a lot of ore refining and dumping into factory due to the low cargo capacity. If you require a better ship quickly, the immediate upgrade is the Suzume MKII.

Nice asymmetric concept in a ship full of features. Thanks for sharing. Regards.

styLmntz made an asymmetric design!? It's the sign of end times! Asymmetrical ships are not my cup of tea but I can still appreciate the craftsmanship. Well done, as usual. I always find it a treat to explore your creations.

super vaisseau super design

So, I took her out for a flight and her overall control authority in flight is really really slugish. Though I do like the design a lot, I'm gonna stick with the Nosuri myself :)

Re: name, "Soleil" is Sun in French. Kagayaku fits this one just fine. :)

Thanks, @Snike!

@LadyRayneCloud, I hope you like it! Disregarding the aesthetics, the ship functions well enough for a Tier 1. It almost makes the Nosuri MKII obsolete.

@Kieve, Thank you very much! I'm really glad you like it. I like that you had that "familiar" moment.. makes me think that I managed to capture the 'soul' of the Soleil. I'm really satisfied with the cockpit too. Love the view in it. I hope the 22.5 degrees heavy glass shapes would come as the current armoured windows frames are an eyesore. Btw, I'm curious about the name though. I interpret it as Solar as in the Sun. I hope I got it right as the meaning of Kagayaku is along the lines of bright/shine as a homage.

Y'know, it's kinda funny - even from the thumbnail I saw it and thought "Odd, that shape sorta reminds me of something." Lo and behold...

Love the reimagining here, sleek and streamlined, very much your own design. Beautiful ship, top to bottom, and I particularly like what you did with the cockpit and the heavy glass.
