Euryale Mk. II Class Battleship [13 Slot]

The Euryale was designed as a successor to the Siyokoy when the [DATA MISSING] required a tougher warship capable of supporting additional large turrets. In that respect, the Euryale is an overwhelming success. Instead of a mere three spinal turrets, it is capable of supporting seven class 6 turrets topside, along with four banks of secondary turrets. It also features more than four times the armor of a Siyokoy Mk. I, and shields that are over five times stronger.

Unfortunately, this came at a cost. The Euryale is very slow and lacks maneuverability. While it isn't an issue when fighting Pirates and Xsotan, the Euryale encounters extreme difficulty fighting back against opponents that are capable of executing advanced combat maneuvers against it. After an extremely one-sided training exercise vs. a Forcen Angrcyda-Class Battleship, the Euryale was judged to be a strategic failure. It is currently being slowly phased out in favor of the Nyi Roro and Siyokoy's Mk. III variants.

That doesn't mean that it is useless, however. It is still quite capable when it comes to fighting large numbers of smaller opponents, and it still offers fantastic support for large numbers of large weapons. This makes it quite dangerous against slower-moving or immobile targets. It is also much less expensive to build, and much easier to crew than either a Siyokoy or a Nyi Roro Mk. III.
