Quick Draw Dark Ride (Gold Rush)

Description
In 1896, gold was found in Bonanza Creek, near Dawson City in Yukon, Canada. When the news was spread in 1897, it triggered a stampede of prospectors and a gold rush broke out. Some became wealthy, but the majority went in vain. Take hold of the gun and begin your own endeavour into the search of gold. Take aim with your gun, fire at the targets and collect points by firing. But be aware, not everyone is happy to see you on the route.

The story of this interactive shooting dark ride is based on the Goldrush of Klondike, but placed in an alternative (South American) environment.

GENERAL INFORMATION & INSTRUCTION:
This compact dark ride consists of a facade building with ride entrance, ride exit path, two shops, a staff room and the queue of the ride. The show building is only 36x40x10m, but contains besides the station, 7 scenes.
Inside the show building is a tunnel (1st floor), which can be used for a (transport)ride passing through the middle of the complex.

The steel railway bridge is not connected to the main building, so it is easy to remove or extend it.
The building roof is ideal for a firework installation. The roof is already accessible for staff by stairs.

Scenes:
Mercantile (station), Border, Settlement, Gold mine, Dawson City, Saloon, Leaving town and the gold treasure of Klondike.

The ride contains the following targets, with a base reward which can be multiplied with a combo:
Red: 10 points
Blue: 25 points
Green: 50 points
Gold*: 100 points

* A golden target will be activated for each green target that is hit successfully. Except for the Gold mine scene, there will only appear one golden target. No matter how many green targets you hit.

It becomes more difficult to hit targets towards the end of the ride. Some targets are difficult and disappear fast. You’ll have to re-ride a couple of times to train yourself for it.

Displays:
There is a TV monitor in the queue. It shows the standard ‘Planet Coaster’ sign. So you’ll have to use your own image or movie on it.

Paths:
There is a screenshot available with the path layout.
