Carolus - class battleship

The Carolus class battleship is the largest widely affordable warship used in the imperial navy as a command ship and and in escorting carriers and dreadnoughts. The Carolus has enough firepower to take down multiple cruiser sized ships, and its small hangar on the bottom of the ship allows it to carry around 2-3 fighters. The ship trades all speed and manouverability for large amounts of firepower and durability.

- 310m long, 93m wide, 25m tall
- armed with 48 dual laser cannon turrets with a length 2 laser and recoil barrels, 6 dual laser cannon turrets with only a length 2 laser barrel, 7 quad laser cannon turrets with a powerful laser and recoil barrels and multiple addons, 1 single laser cannon turret with a max length laser and recoil barrels, and 3 triple laser cannon turrets with a length 2 laser and length 3 recoil barrels.
- The ship is not very fast, at 35m/s top speed and it takes a while to reach it, and takes about 20 seconds to turn 90 degrees.
- The ship is extremely durable, with 15.4 million hull hp and 5.6 million shield hp, and has up to 8-10 layers of hull armor at some places.
- The ship has 2 command stations, the command bridge at the front of the ship and the observation deck at the back of the ship, both have control ships where the ship is pilotable from
