As for preference... I like this one better for combat, Ark has better modification options, but gods forbid if we could just get a game like this but with The Forest or Green Hell building systems...
Triple feat points per level will allow you to max out all your stats (I think), so it really is a choice on your part ... either will work and either will enhance your experience in my opinion.
You can also always try one, then next time you restart try a different one. Singleplayer is great that way :)
(I play Ark too and I do like the config options of Ark slightly more than Conan ... but we work with what we get)
Unsure if it would hard conflict with this other one that says it triples attribute points per level, but I might try it just for the all in one aspect of feats + attributes.
Game is very Ark like, but at least Ark had a file location you could change the number of engram points and stats per level etc... But I say that after only playing for like 31 hours over 2 days while screwing around in a "new environment" lol.
Since the dev kit is so easy to use for small things like this, it just made more sense.
I balanced this so that a pve solo player (or small group) will be stronger but not too strong as the game progresses. This is NOT for pve as it is unbalanced for that aspect of the game.
The additional feat points were added because we wanted to be able to unlock more of the deco and building stuff while leveling instead of needing to be more careful and specialize.
Hope this helps :)
Would this work on its own? I might give it a try after testing a different attribute related mod that hasn't been touched in 2 years lol.
However, to answer your question. This mod doubles the gain of attributes and adds a few feat points per level to help balance the pve on our server.
