Konsul F3 Amiral

Introduced in 1956, it was a major step foward for the whole factory on basically every surface. Body-on-frame was replaced with monocoque constructions, Side Valve engines used in previous models were discontinued and machines sent to USSR as part of trade exchange, and new tech of OHV and OHC engines was implemented. Suspension was redesigned, front was now equipped with oil shocks and regular springs in place of leaf ones. All of the F3 models received heater and radio as stock, with Amiral also receiving twin-coloured paintjob as a standard, not an option, wooden trim, power assisted steering and optional automatic transmission. F3 stayed in production up until 1964, when it was both replaced by larger and even more luxurious F4, and heavily facelifted F3, called F370, for buyers looking for something luxurious but not as luxurious as a big boaty V8-driven vehicle.
