Japanese Flag V8

Here is another V8 in the colours of a flag. In this case, the engine is representing Japan. I chose Japan because it relates to the large amount of 'quickmod' Japanese trains we have in Rolling Line.

As most of you will already know, Japan is a country in Asia. It is an island nation; meaning it does not share a border with any other country. Japan's capital (and largest) city is Tokyo, and the country's population is 125,930,000. A massive 34 million people live in Tokyo alone, which makes it the largest city/metropolitan area in the world. Japan's leader is a prime minister (just like in New Zealand), and his name is Shinzō Abe.

Japan is known for having one of the most intricate and precise rail networks in the world. Their trains rarely arrive to a station more than 20 seconds late, and even a delay of 6 seconds can be considered seriously late by the Japanese people. At least, I think that's how things go over there.

The main track gauge in Japan is 3ft 6inch, the same as what New Zealand and South Africa have. However, the Shinkansen high-speed trains (better known as the 'Bullet Train') run on their own dedicated lines which are a) 4ft 8.5inch gauge and b) physically seperate from the 3ft 6inch gauge lines.
