A few years have passed since the success of taking out Nod's Sarajevo Temple along with Kane in it.

Tiberium has been accelerating in growth and there hasn't been any way to slow or stop its infection of the planet. Nod's forces have been in disarray but remain difficult to fully eradicate due to many splinter factions forming and causing uprisings across the globe. Some are easily dealt with, but many are growing in numbers because of our stretched resources due to allocating them in trying to control tiberium's growth--with no success.

We recently received a report that an area thought to be long abandoned due to heavy tiberium growth is stirring with Nod activity. Large amounts of it. Field intel spotted a heavily fortified base in the area, but didn't indicate what purpose it was for. Contact was cut after hearing the hum of a Nod obelisk along with heavy fire. Something big is happening and we have a feeling that Nod is taking advantage of these abandoned areas to harvest the tiberium to fund their cause. For what, we don't know, but we need to put a stop to this before it becomes a catastrophic issue.

Reinforcements were sent to the area and radioed in that they are currently under attack. Nod knows we are here and it has become like stirring a hornet's nest. We are at a numbers disadvantage and Nod's presence is very solid. Field intel's last transmission indicated that Nod has complete control of the tiberium fields to the west of our position. This isn't going to be an easy battle like the small fry Nod splinter factions. Nod looks like they want to maintain control and will fight with their lives.

Being the commander that successfully led the onslaught that took out Nod's Sarajevo Temple, we hope to see the same amount of ferocity to the Nod aggression. Take immediate control of your position, establish your base quickly, and take them out! Good luck, commander!

A really fun, involved, classic mission, with working win/loss triggers and AI and a great looking map.

Made a few more adjustments to the map. Opened up room to HOPEFULLY get the congestion done for once and for all. lol @ChlodnyBorsuk: I took Vanessaira's suggestion and widened the bottleneck leading to the base by 2 cells. Hopefully that, as well as some adjustments to the map, will help with this on going issue!

YEP, the entrance to main NOD base is too narrow. AI blocks itself with too much units

@Bonpoc: weird. I would definitely look it up to see if there's a way to get them to show up.!

@Vanessaira: I actually took out the SAM site deep in the base because I was thinking I had an excessive number of them on the map. Lol

I still can't believe it gets jammed up at the airstrip. I actually removed a lot of what was around it initially and I removed a lot of the AI prebuilt units. Lol the problem is that when the AI calls for a team to be formed they might be stuck with units surrounding them.

@yoshi. That was the interesting thing. I waited out two waves of NOD APC/Eng reinforcements once the map was fully clear just to be sure, but. It might be possible that it was stuck off screen thanks to the traffic jam at the airstrip.

Oh I forgot to bring up the fact that I miss the SAM site deep in the main base. It prevented the decoy, bait, and sneak in aircraft trick. Or did you really want that to be an option?
