the meteore burn up but leave a little massive ore stone/we its called on the ground on earth
and the elves.. well actually only 1 elf is smithing theese swords :) each sword has a gem stone and blade in the exact same color/shading as the rythers dragon. and its enchanted with elvish magic during the smithing process of theese swords that makes them so strong that almost nothing can break them. and they never get dull.
