Battle of Ubomvu [SmallMapVille]

Description
My entry for the SmallMapville save challenge.

Story: In the far future, the second planet of the Ubomvu system (formely known as Gliese 514) has been taken over by the Union of True Terrans (UTT). Yearning for a better way of life, the people of Ubomvu II revolted against the government in order to restore democracy to the colony.
Recently, the Interstellar Federation of Human Colonies (IFHC) has decided to aid the rebels. This is where you come in. You are a sergeant working with a taskforce of troops who are trying to help the people win against the UTT. Your job is to defeat the enemy squad and enter their stronghold in order to weaken their grip on this part of the colony, while also protecting the refugees who need to be transported off-world for their safety.

May you fight well and win.

Note: The text signs acted up for me. Some of them didn't load the text when I loaded a save sometimes.
It might just be me, but if this happens to you, I advise loading this up again a second time quickly if an error message shows up. This will hopefully fix it.

I don't really make saves these days. My interests have drifted to other things.
Maybe I'll do a follow up. Depends how I feel.

Pretty cool. What addon do you use to make the lighting glow? It looks really nice.
