Description
Newton's Laws of Motion

1: An Object in motion stays in motion unless an external force acts upon it.

Basically, you send something flying, it will keep flying until something stops it; be it a
- Surface,
- Body of water,
- Someone's face,
- etc.

2: The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force.

If you have one thruster on the left pushing right at 5 m/s, and one on the right pushing back at 2 m/s, the object will be going right at 3 m/s.

3: Every Action has an equal and opposite reaction.

What this means is that if you push on a wall, the wall pushes back on you with the exact same force you apply, until you overwhelm it's capacity to push back or give up.

So unless you are somehow superman, i'd advise choosing the latter to avoid looking like an idiot.

Now, To Make Space Engineers Meet This Criteria...

How is 200 m/s max, despite any thrust I put on, anything like this? Basically, I made this mod so that these laws are met by the game, by setting the total ship speed to an excess of 1 billion m/s. Sure, it's not infinite, but its that much closer to it. My thanks and attributions towards those bloody brilliant scientists and professors out there; past, present and future.

Have fun, and fly safe!

And please, don't forget to...

Disclaimer:
1: never stand next to a warhead in creative when it goes off, you'll have a hard time getting back to point A.
2: Grids impacting other grids at speeds higher than 800 m/s seem to disappear completely without any damage to the other grid.
3: Einstein said nothing can go faster than light. He also hasn't played Space Engineers. (God Bless him)
