Описание
A map for "Map Labs HL:A Workshop #1: One Room," where the challenge was to make a map that only used one room. This map has the player ascend and descend a large atrium that the Combine are occupying for their nefarious purposes...

This is my first map with the new tools and I'm still learning the ins and outs, so there are some things that are a bit lacking, as well as a few glitches with toner puzzles that proved impossible to resolve... nothing game breaking. I promise this map is still pretty good! Just expect a bit of jank.

can you tell me what architectual style this is?
I was baffled by this atmosphere. Would like to design my future house also like that if i had enough cash ; )

This is very funny: I'm an architect too - seems to be an architect-map ;-)
And yes, Worm & Leojrenrek, we need more maps with great architecture.

Fascinating! It was giving me Charles Gwathmey vibes. I hope you make more HL:A content...we need more architect creators who know a thing or two about the built environment.

I'm glad you appreciated it, Leojrenrek. I'm also an architect! (Technically "architectural designer" because I'm not licensed.) I based the interior partially on the College of Design at Iowa State University, where I went to school.

As an architect, I really appreciated this map. HL has taken us to a lot of locations (apartments, docks, a prison, a zoo, a hospital, a church, a brewery...), but I've never seen a building quite like this in a mod. I'm still waiting for someone to do a library, or a school, or recreate the lost coast...
