Q and A:

Q: Why?
A: A few reasons:

1. The show suffered several main issues: Bad writing, Heavy pushing of liberal propaganda and being so obsessed with being seen as "subversive" that it butchered its own writing with nearly zero valid excuses to do so, in response I juxtaposed these issues by inverting the overall theme to be a more sinister version and recreated the characters as more twisted versions.

2. The potential for juxtaposition was too good.

Q: why is Steven used as the SS soldiers?
A: Just like soldiers in a real army, Steven was the shows main driving force and method of pushing the story along, so I thematically placed him as a soldier rather than the leader, as Steven is also one of the least important characters in the show and could easily be replaced, just like a dead soldier.

Q: Why is Garnet a SS guard?
A: Garnet was a big fan favourite and one of the strongest characters but was easily defeated by Spinel, putting her in second place.

Q: What gun is Garnet holding?
A: MP 40, produced in Nazi Germany in 1938 and designed by Heinrich Vollmer.

Q: Why are Ruby and Sapphire on the fire when they are parts of Garnet?
A:Garnet herself, despite being 2 fused gems, acts different from both of them and is basically an entirely different character.

Q: Why is Spinel the leader?
A: As far as I know, she is the most powerful character in the shows canon and can defeat other characters with ease, putting her at the very top.

1. Steven is away too naive, even as a teenager, he literally doxxed himself to the entire universe in the movie, in fact his decision making is so brain dead that im sure he has a very minor case of serious brain damage.

2. no problem with people being gay/fat/whatever but they literally use this to drive characters with no other motive, example being pearls obsession with pink diamond, being treated like shit and abandoned, then we get the whole "i dont need her" arch, only for pearl to fall back in love with a person who literally treats her like shit and the whole arch be thrown away in less than a minute and zero justification of why.

3. good point but the show turned every generic "space nazi" into good guys just by steven basically saying "ding dong your opinion is wrong" and the space nazi magically says "ok" and joins them.

all except for the diamonds at the end of the SU movie, for literally no consistent reason other than "pink bad, we help now" and this change coming out of literally nowhere, when they are literally opposed to changing at all.

4. true but bismuths whole "revolution" plot gave off a "race war" feel, bismuth is coloured black and bismuth hates white diamond, bismuth also isnt the only character to be coloured and that used as a plot point.

remember when garnet and amethyst fused creating that giant impulsive monster? yeah, that and the character "concrete" who was cut from the show entirely for obvious reasons. another 2 examples of colour being used to forward a plot.

1. is fair about the fact that you can't forgive everyone, but remember, Steven is still a kid back then so he might be a little naive

2., peridot lapis greg Sadie amethyst jasper spinel bismuth the diamonds pearl's onion lars and his friends , also connie is the only black except for that one lars friend, that's pretty conservative that two people are black also, whats wrong with people being black? Or overweight? Gems don't have gender. they also have white people and skinny people, look at lars or pearl or steven

3. Protolarence is tolerating people, unless their evil, that doesn’t mean accepting Ivan the baby eater

4.gems don't have race, also they are a dictatorship and blue and yellow diamonds don't represent race and they have a diamond who's constantly angry, so yeah.

1. the entire character of steven with his "anyone can be forgiven" ideological shit, not EVERYONE can be, the diamonds are literal space nazis and steven literally tries to justify their actions.

2. everyone is either gay/lesbian, overweight, black or a mix of those.

3. the shows messages are VERY left leaning and "pro-tolerance" (see point 1) to a point where its annoying,

4. the diamonds especially WHITE diamond exist as a sort of embodiment of a "dictatorship", the whole arch screams anti-white propaganda.

I can understand the bad writing part, but what's wrong with liberalism? Propaganda is bad, sure, but what's the problem with liberalism? I'm not very well-versed on the topic.
