Even one wrong step can really make you fail so be careful

Ok.. I did some test runs.
First test... I produced an ore successfully, then saved and reloaded. I produced a second ore without issue...
Second test... I saved before the mine was built/or had any blueprint placed and reloaded. I then built a mine and produced ore without issue.
Third test... I placed a blueprint of the mine down, saved and reloaded. No issue.
Fourth test... I saved right after then mine was built and in progress, then reloaded. No issue.
I reloaded my game from last night and confirmed it still isn't producing ore but I don't have any further guesses as to the cause. Do you know of a way to share a saved game, if you were interested in looking at it?

It was the first challenge in the series, orbital communications base. I believe I had saved the game at one point and launched it to continue playing before I had the mine up and going. I don't know if that may have affected anything. I can try starting another game and test...

A fun idea but the darkness is very frustrating and I eventually realized the mine wasn't producing/spawning any ore whenever the mining progress bar completed, making the game unplayable.

After I saw some problems, I updated the challenge. Here is what changed.

#1 - OCB- not updated
#2 - SR- fixed a bug in the savegame where the trading ship never lands and you have to manually change it.
#3 - ITE- Flattened the terrain a bit more to make it easier to build, but did not change the height offset.

I just released an updated version. Here is what changed.
#1- OCB- not updated
#2- SR- fixed a bug where the landing pad was underground and any ship other than the trading ship that was there at the beginning simply can't land unless you recycle and rebuild the landing pad
#3- ITE- flattened the terrain a little bit to make building across mountains possible

Too dark at night. I agree with the flashing lights...think it happens when solar flares occur and interacts poorly with the absolute dark you set. The challenge itself is pretty straightforward, just got to dodge the solar flares, really.

Is there any way to disable the flashing lights? That alone I feel like makes this almost unplayable, otherwise it seems like an interesting challenge
