Vertex D1 - Compact VTOL Aircraft

The Vertex D1 is a compact one-man VTOL with both a huge range and high top speed. It has a range of over 3000km at a 210 knots speed, and can reach a top speed of over 455 knots and still have a range of almost 1300km. It has all the equipment you would expect from a capable VTOL aircraft like autopilot, altitude hold, and an auto-evasion system which will prevent it from colliding with any obstacles. It’s also completely water tight, so you can touch water with no damage to the engines.


Enter the cockpit through the hatch on the underside of it.
Sit down in the pilot seat.
Turn on the main power with the switch on the right hand panel.
Turn on the engines with the switch on the right hand panel and the navigation lights.
Wait for the engines to finish throttling up to 16 RPS before touching the controls.



There is a parachute and a diving suit behind the pilot seat.

The autopilot may not hit the target destination perfectly depending on the speed you are using.

You can refuel or recharge the aircraft with connectors on the rear right under the rear engines, or refuel with the fluid connector on the top of it.

The main screen can change between showing general flight info, map, and radar. The artificial horizon is overlaid on the screen at all times.
