Description
OUTDATED! I will replace this with the Focustree version and delete this one when Battle for Bosporus releases!

Alright people, I'm delaying the release of the focustree version, because I need the Battle for Bosporus update in order to fix crucial stuff. Also I need more time to implement all the mechanics that I want in, especially the resistance mechanics, which are a pain to code, and I really dont have the time to sink myself into that, because I have my final exams in 1 week and in 1 month respectively which I direly need to pass, so I'm only making slow progress on IEA.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Adds a puppet state and increases East-Africa's rescources + Industry

This mod is intended to be used with "Increased Resources Revived", but it is not necessary.

27.7
Hotfix for the Triumph in Africa Focus!

23. Jul 2020
Changelog:
-Added "Italian East Africa" as a subject nation to Italy (Satellite), which has cores on Eritrea, Somaliland and Ethiopia.
-Subdivided the aforementioned states into smaller areas. (And evenly distributed the population across those)
-Gave more free building slots to IEA, Ethiopia and South Africa.
-Gave 26 rubber, 13 steel to Ethiopia (was 3 rubber 0 steel before.), as well as 4 oil, 8 steel to IEA (was 0/0).
-Gave more industry to Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somaliland.
(7 civs / 3 mills to Ethiopia (was 2/2 before),
(7/1 to I.E.A (was 0/0 before). So if IEA conquers Ethiopia, it will have 14 civs / 4 mills.)

-To make up for this buffing of IEA, I also buffed South Africa slightly, to make it playably interesting: 15 civs/3 mills (was 9/1 before.), as well as more empty building slots.
-Added proper generals to IEA, and gave them histrically correct portraits and traits.
-Gave IEA control over the Italian planes that are stationed in Eritrea in 36.
-Shifted Italy's troops that are historically meant as auxillaries from Eritrea and Somalia to IEA's control. One of them changed to "Zaptié" police force. Total number of divisions is unchanged.

UPDATED!
25.Jul 2020
-Toned down the amount of rubber in Ethiopia (from 31 down to 26. At Infrastructure 10, that is now 40 (and was 48)
-Gave South Africa even more empty building slots.
-Gave 5 Victory points to the city of Asmara in Eritrea (from 1), so that it is not worth less than Mogadishu (3)
-Gave 6 Victory Points to Addis Ababa (was 5), so that it can become the Capital, once Ethiopia is conquered. (via focus. coming soon.)
-Removed the Airports in Anseba, Amhara and Galla-Sidamo, which I had put there by accident.
-Optimized to localisation files. This should improve compatibility with translation mods.
-Moved a province from Harar to Ogadēn, so that it does not look weird anymore.

---------------------------------

Coming up:
-I plan to flesh out IEA into a "real" nation with it's own focus tree, as well as some national spirits. Extensive research is already done.

-Peace Deal event similar to China/Japan if Ethiopia manages to push Italy out. Ethiopia annexes Somalia and Eritrea then and has peace with Italy again. (high priority)
-Create National Spirits (high priority)
-Focustree (medium priority) (will arrive within the next 2-3 weeks)
-Add support for 1939 starting date (medium priority)
-Actually historical and more fitting advisors (right now, they are simply copypasted over from Italy) (low priority)

Yes that is possible, but gameplay-mechanics-wise, claims do pretty much nothing. Any ideas how to solve that? Maybe border conflicts? I mean... why die for Djibouti? (says France)

Would it be possible - cores may be excessive - for IEA to pursue claims on the surrounding colonies? Historically Djibouti and Somaliland were sought after to consolidate the grip on Ethiopia, as well as Italy having entertained thoughts on annexing parts of Kenya and Sudan as well. Of course, all you have described sounds very good as well, I am excited to see what comes of this.

Right now i'm working on ironing out bugs and coding last bits of planned features.
Paradox is making me a bit antsy because with the new DLC, they change the map AGAIN which is surprisingly tedious to deal with as a modder. (but i like what they do to yugoslavia, so i approve of the map change)

For multiplayer and shenanigans purposes, you can ask Mussolini to give you control over the entire Italian navy (so that the italy player does not have to deal with that).
I severely nerfed IEA's starting industry (because my whole server said it is OP a.f.), but it can be built back up using the italian corporations focuses.
Of course, the massacre of addis abeba will also be featured, as well as the General Nasi's and prince Amedeo's famous last stand. You will also be able to close the strait of Aden/Djibouti if you control that land on both sides (not possible in vanilla)

First iteration of the tree will be historical only, but after that is done, i'll start doing ahistorical stuff to backstab italy and do some anti-imperialist pan-african stuff. For now, you can decide which direction your military will expand into, settle italian corporations to boost the economy of your newly acquired colony (italy WAY overspent of this historically, in 1937 even spending more on it than all of italy earned in that year, iirc). you can promote Idris Awate to general, who fought for IEA historically as an officer, both in ethiopia also as in WW2, and later on, after WW2, formed the eritrean independence movement and is still venered as a hero there.
You will be able to expand IEA's capacity enormously, getting a focus to urbanize aka to increase building slots via decisions.

I know the description says you will be replacing it with the focus tree version later on when the next DLC drops, but could you give us some kind of teaser for what it will include as a focus tree / events?
