Description
(SV CPU Tier 3, Class 2, Unlock Level 15, Alpha 12)

Primary roles: Heavy HV Mover, Storage, Warp, Survival Comforts

Built for XCaliber's July asymmetrical challenge.

The Skaar is a new faction of human space pirates, raiders, mercenaries, and scrappers. This is the fifth build with more to come in the future. The Sky Runner is a heavy HV mover designed to easily load most HV's that can fit on it's large platform and move them anywhere you want. It has heavy lift thrust and fairly powerful. It also has 32K storage and a couple extra cargo boxes. The asymmetrical design has a cabin on 1 side with a armor locker, o2 and station, fridge, drone hatch, deck and ground access doors, wifi, detector, passenger seat, plus many control switches for lift thrust, spot lights, etc. It also has a warp drive. It requires a 13x7 hangar door or large landing pad to dock do to it's width.

Offense and Defense

The hull is made with a combination of steel and cargo extensions. It has no weapons at all and meant just to move HV's.

Update 8/24/2020 - Fixed incorrect value in heavy lift switch causing it to be stuck off once turned off. Now it works as intended.

Notes: The tank shown in some screen shots is still a WIP and should be released next. I also do not yet have a Skaar creation with a large enough hangar or landing pad to allow this to dock. I will be working on such things in the future thou.

The cargo extensions are laid out in an interlocking pattern across the landing deck with extra extensions on the side opposite of the cabin to try to stabilize the ship.

I was wondering if there is any way to get this with a deck 3 blocks less in width? My skarr tank would still fit on it and getting it into the Skarr Nemis would be much easier ? I have tried for a few hours thought the tool you get up with "N" I could work it but no luck at least for me. Love your ships and thanks for all the time you take to make them,,,

@Old_Wold and Tarsis. I just patched it and fixed the issue. I had set the wrong signal in the heavy lift switch so it would it would stay locked once heavy lift was turned off. Thanks for the heads up and thanks again!

Hey, Jeff. I agree with Tarsis. Something is set wrong with the High Performance switch. When you turn it off, it sets the switch to inactive and doesn't go back to active when you turn the thrusters back on. You have to manually set the switch back to active for it to work. I don't know enough about logic yet to know how to fix it.

Have you tried it though? Cause it's set wrong. The high performance switch disables itself.
