Description
The huge Earth map to beat all huge Earth maps! Includes TSL for all civilizations including those introduced with the New Frontiers Pass, as well as many city-states. Resources have been manually placed to encourage trade and in the spirit of authenticity, and some geographical formations have been altered for the purpose of improving gameplay. Requires Gathering Storm and all other DLC, and all Gathering Storm features are included- yes, that means this is the largest world map that can flood without crashing! All natural wonders are also placed as precisely as I was able to, including the new ones introduced with Maya and Gran Columbia! Works with and without New Frontiers content!

ANNOUNCEMENT(a):

-Unfortunately I cannot find any way to add Ley Line placement at this time. I will revisit this if I have reason to believe it is possible to add them manually, but for the time being the map will remain without Ley line placement.

-TSL Huge Earth Map v.2 is now available! Check out the new map with its many improved features, and be aware that it requires YAEMP to work.

Fire is just a game mechanic. I play Earth maps a lot (e.g. CogitatorsXXL, Viking, YnAMP’s Greatest Earth (which has stability issues due to game limitations and not the map itself). Fire is always a problem in northern Asia (Siberia/Taiga) or Canada. Either you have a realistic map with forest, or you have an unrealistic map with less forest but no fires.
I use workers to chop forest fire breaks. It's the only way unless you find a way to disable the fire mechanic altogether.

Also, it’s worth noting that SOME fire is good - look at the post burn bonuses you get :) City growth & production in these areas can be insanely high.

So, I tend to let fire rage for a while and chop firebreaks to make sure it extinguishes plus I am defended against fire beyond my cities. 150+ production per turn with no industrial zone? Yes please! 😊

Friend is playing as Canada and has had perpetual looping forest fires in their capital and around since the game started, anyone else get this?

This map is good in every aspect, except that there are too few strategic resources.

All of the European city states (with the exception of Vilnius and Armagh) do not spawn when selected. Otherwise, I love playing on this map and have for a long time. Thank you for all your hard work!

This is even smaller then YNAEMP Greatest earth, and cuts off northern Scandinavia, Russia, and South Afric is too far south.
