The Raptor was designed to patrol the rapidly expanding trade routes of the Phoenix Republic. It serves in this arena to hunt down pirates and smugglers alike, and disable their ships quickly by near-instantly overheating their systems. Its duties do not end there, however, and in combat it proves to be a formidable foe, as it quickly burns away armor to expose critical systems and disable its enemies.
