Description

This mod replaces 1,016 voice lines for Louis with Haru Okumura's English lines, 86 lines for The Passing dlc, and the dialogue added in the Last Stand Update. All of the Persona 5 quotes used were found on YouTube. The files were edited with Audacity.

I tried to replace as much dialogue as I could with what made sense.

Installation Instructions:
Subscribe to this addon, start L4D2, load addons, then exit the app.
Open "2180189574.vpk" with GCFScape. (Located in: Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop)
Extract the four folders. The folders inside contain the sound files
Go to Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc2\sound\player\survivor\voice and create a backup of the manager folder if you wish to revert back to the default voice
Empty the manager folder
Paste sound files from the "haru okumura dlc 2" folder into Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc2\sound\player\survivor\voice\manager
Then go to Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc3\sound\player\survivor\voice and create a backup of the manager folder as well if you wish to revert back to the default voice
Empty the manager folder
Paste sound files from the "haru okumura dlc 3" folder into Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc3\sound\player\survivor\voice\manager
For The Passing audio, navigate to Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc1\sound\player\survivor\voice\manager
Make a backup folder where you can store Louis's original audio if you ever want to go back to it.
Paste sound files from the "haru okumura dlc 1" folder into Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc1\sound\player\survivor\voice\manager
For the Last Stand Update dialogue, go to Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\update\sound\player\survivor\voice and create a backup of the manager folder as well if you wish to revert back to the default voice
Empty the manager folder
Paste sound file from the "haru okumura update" folder into Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\update\sound\player\survivor\voice\manager

Launch the game and open console commands at the main menu. Enter the following command:
snd_rebuildaudiocache
Once that is finished, input the command "quit".

Comment any issues with a specific type of dialogue and I will try and fix them.

I'm glad you like the voice pack. I might rework a few of the packs for other survivors at some point in the next couple of months.

This mod is outright fantastic! Is there by any chance you'll do this voice pack of Noir but for Zoey at some point? I did a bit of experimenting with using this addon meant for Louis' vpk but used it for Zoey's, and it sort of works to some extent but that's about it really. All and all though, good stuff!

Put in all of the packs that you want at once, then you only have to input the snd_rebuildaudiocache command once. If you have already done that command with a different pack and your installing another one after the fact, then yes you're gonna have to input that command into the console at the main menu again.

bro, if I already did this process with another voice, do I have to do it again? I mean if I understand replacing the files, that is clear to me, but I also have to write down the commands again?
