The entire 269 series park has been withdrawn from circulation and put up for sale or for rent, through Renfe Alquiler (ROSCO). Currently there are locomotives of sub-series 0 in service rented by Captrain Spain (formerly Comsa Rail Transport) and Low Cost Rail. The 269,351 and 356, the 269,352 and 353 by Go Transport have also been purchased by Continental Rail, as well as the 269,851 by Low Cost Rail.
