Nova Luna [Scripted]

Description
Nova Luna [Scripted]

Mod Features

  • Setup with random player order

  • Automatic dealing of new tiles

  • Automatic movement of new moon marker and player disc after tile is taken

  • Large player areas with snap points

  • Snap points for goals on tiles

How to Use this Mod

  • After all players are seated click "Setup". This fills the tile display and randomly determines the player order by placing the player moon discs on the time tracker on top of each other (topmost disc = first player)

  • To perform a turn, a player simply takes a tile from the display and places it in his/her play area. The new moon marker is automatically moved to the tile's location and the moon disc of that player's color is moved according to the cost of the tile taken.
Attention: Don't take another tile while your own moon marker is still moving. This messes the counting up.

  • Click "Draw Tiles" to refill the tile display.

Notes
  • If you don't want the random order click "Setup" anyway and change the moon disc order manually afterwards.

  • The setup uses the seated players. Players joining after the setup can simply place their moon disc marker, located on the center of their goal disc display, on the time track.

  • You can move player discs and the new moon marker manually around, e.g. to fix errors, without messing the scripting up.

  • While safe guards are in place for "normal gameplay", moving tiles into or across the central board to fix errors may trigger the tile-taking script and move the new moon marker and the player's moon disc. Just rewind in that case.

Thanks! It's working perfectly now

Thanks for your report. The hotseat bug should be fixed now: the moon marker of the player whose turn it is will move.
ItsDangerousToGoAlone 22 Jan, 2021 @ 12:59am
The automatic player marker movement script isn't working properly in hotseat mode. Instead of moving the current player's marker forward the game will move the first player marker forward each time.

Perfectly scripted game, thank you so much!

There is no automatic way to cancel a move, but you can either manually undo the move or use the rewind function in Tabletop Simulator (leftmost button in the bar on the top of the screen). If you undo your move manually just make sure that you don't drag the tile across other tiles/board but from the side, that may mess with the automation (see last note above).

Excellent ! Thank you for your work !
Maybe a silly question but : how can I cancel a move please?

very good! I'm learning scripting and this mod is very helpful, i'll try to apply the mod to patchwork to move the player tile according to tile cost
